We Foster
A dynamic social campaign with a bold mission to combat the foster care crisis in the UK. Using modern digital platforms, it educates millennials about the journey of fostering, emphasising its inclusivity regardless of age, background, or experience. The campaign aims to break the stereotype of being a foster carer.

Phase 1 | Social Media
During 'Foster Care Fortnight' in May, We Foster is activated on social media, strategically using platforms like Instagram and TikTok to resonate with millennials. Through real life stories of young foster carers, the campaign aims to inspire others to recognise fostering as a fulfilling path.
Phase 2 | Website
The campaign extends from social media to the website which offers a safe space for the audience to seek further guidance, inspiration and support. The accessible content includes Q&A's, further information on care types and enquiries for those that need further support.
Development
The main challenges of this project were ensuring that the campaign appealed to the target audience, whilst avoiding an over-simplistic tone as the subject is a serious one. This involved researching millennials, considering a unique approach to really grab their attention.
